Election Commissioner’s orders not applied to Wimal’s cutouts

The Election Commissioner’s order to the IGP to remove all cutouts of candidates by March 3rd and to forward a report on the issue has not been applied to the cutouts put up by NFF Leader Wimal Weerawansa.

Acting on the Election Commissioner’s orders, many cutouts of Duminda Silva and Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama were removed except those of Wimal’s.

Sources from the SLFP headquarters said that many senior SLFP members were disgruntled with the support received by Wimal from the law enforcement agencies.
